Here is a simple recipe for chicken legs/thighs that will make your taste buds sing.
Ingredients:
Soy Sauce
Lefty's Best Barbecue Sauce
Honey
fresh finely chopped garlic
Chicken legs/thighs with skin on
Salt
Pepper
Olive oil
Step 1 - In a small sauce pan over low heat, combine 1 part soy sauce, 1 part Lefty's Best Barbecue Sauce, 1 part honey, and fresh chopped garlic. Stir frequently to combine. You will want enough to submerge about half of the chicken leg in a baking pan.
Step 2 - While that is heating up, pat the chicken dry with a paper towel and put into a baking dish. Rub a little olive oil on the skin, then season with salt and pepper. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Step 3 - Remove the sauce mixture from the heat and pour over the chicken. Ideally the mixture will cover about half of the chicken in the baking dish. Put in oven for 30 minutes.
Step 4 - Increase the oven temp to 425 degrees and baste the chicken with the sauce mixture. Let cook for an additional 15 minutes.
Step 5 - Remove the chicken from the oven. The internal temperature should be at least 165 degrees. Let rest for 5 minutes and then serve!
